"On March 13, 2026, a training on 'Project Management – Coordination and Collaboration among Stakeholders' was successfully organized with the participation of all staff members of the Ulaanbaatar City Unified Project Implementation Unit."

A coordination meeting was held on March 10, 2026, with the contractors of the 226-unit residential buildings at Bayankhoshuu sub-center and the 228-unit residential buildings at Sharkhad sub-center, as well as with the contractors responsible for the external engineering networks, roads, landscaping, automation, and solar panel installation at both sites.

On March 5, 2026, DBM Asset Management LLC, a subsidiary of the Development Bank of Mongolia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with seven commercial banks. Through this agreement, the parties will jointly finance the construction of 4,200 housing units under the second phase of the “Ulaanbaatar Affordable Green Housing and Resilient Urban Renewal Sector Project.”

On February 25, 2026, the meeting of the “Project Steering Committee” of the Ulaanbaatar Unified Project Implementation Unit was successfully held. The members appointed under Order No. A/259 dated February 16, 2026 convened and discussed and resolved the following key issues.

The Coal to Solar (C2S) project, funded by the Asian Development Bank, is planned to be implemented starting from the third quarter of 2026. The project aims to provide heating and energy solutions for 400 selected households in Ulaanbaatar’s ger districts using solar collectors and renewable energy technologies, sell the excess electricity generated to the central power grid, and ultimately integrate participating households into the carbon credit market.

The first phase of the 110-unit Green Housing residential complex was officially handed over to the operating organizations on January 26, 2026.

A commissioning committee conducted an inspection for the permanent operation of the power supply facilities of the First Ring of the Sharhad Subcenter.
