On August 11, 2026, the post-construction audit for international EDGE green building certification was successfully conducted at Site S27-5 of the Sharhad Sub-center.
The audit was carried out on-site by certified auditor Sartio Prakosa, specializing in international sustainable building standards such as EDGE, Greenship, and LEED, together with the project team.
Developed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the EDGE system assesses green buildings based on three core criteria:
Energy savings
Water efficiency and rational use
Eco-friendly and low-carbon building materials
With the successful completion of this post-construction audit, the 110-unit green housing development at Site S27-5 is set to become the first officially EDGE-certified residential building in Mongolia. The final audit report is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by the official receipt of the international green building certificate.
